Week three brought about challenges as my son hit a growth spurt, teething, and all sorts of fun schedule changes. In combination with my sleep deprivation, we have cold weather changes (making workout out outside a little tough) as well as I have been experiencing what is known as “Mommy Wrist.”

So needless to say, exercise did NOT happen this week. Which I am OK with. I’ve got to do what’s best for my little and my body. Better to take time off then to not be able to work out at all.
Also – the great thing about tracking my calories in/out is that I can STILL lose without any exercise at all.
I want to encourage you to listen to your body, know when it’s ok to take a break and when to push yourself. Don’t get lazy, but also don’t suffer needlessly.
So here are this week’s results without any exercise at all:
Starting weight : 150.5
Week 1 – 146.6
Week 2 – 145.2
Week 3 – 142. 6
Total Loss : 7.9 lbs.
So as you can see, Abs really are made in the kitchen. Without exercise I still lost 2.5 lbs! Don’t give up! Keep going. You CAN do this.
